Dr Frankel graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1984. His focus has always been to promote and provide the best care possible for his patients.
Upon graduating from dental school, he moved to Philadelphia with his family to do a General Practice Residency in the Department of Oral Medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical Centre.
Since then he has taken numerous post-graduate training courses at Creating Restorative Excellence in Seattle under Dr John Kois; in Toronto with Dr James Carlton; and is a fellow of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Neuromuscular Dentistry (LVIF). In 1995, he received a Fellowship designation from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He firmly believes that the mouth and full body are intimately connected, and that Dentistry should be practiced respecting these connections, resulting in optimal overall health.
In addition to dentistry, Dr. Frankel was a professional percussionist and drummer. He continues to have a great love for music – especially jazz!
